BMW M6 Coupe - a sports modification of the 6 series coupe, developed by the M Gmbh division. Compared to the regular 6, its M-version has a sportier and firmer suspension, a wind tunnel-tested streamlined bodywork and, of course, a more powerful powerplant, which uses a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8.
A similar engine is used on the sedan BMW M5. Its maximum power is reached at around 6,000 rpm and is 560 hp. Peak torque of 680 Nm is available from 1,500-5,750 rpm. Thanks to more extensive use of ultra-light and durable materials, such as a carbon-fiber roof, in the coupe than in the sedan, the two-door accelerates to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds - 0.2 seconds faster than the M5. Carbon inserts can also decorate the interior. The rear axle differential is tuned for a combat mode and can transfer up to 100% of the torque to one of the two drive wheels.
Sending all the power of the engine to the rear wheels is an ultra-fast dual-clutch "robot" that can count seven gears. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h, but at the request of the owner, this limit can be removed and then the mark will move to 305 km / h.
The standard wheels for the BMW M6 Coupe are 19-inch. As an option, 20-inch ones are also offered, in which carbon-ceramic brakes can fit for an extra charge. When ordering the optional adaptive dampers and Servotronic steering with variable effort, the driver will be able to individually adjust the operation of not only the engine and transmission, but also the suspension and steering.
