Description BMW X3 (F25) 2010

BMW X3 - the second generation of a five-seater crossover, introduced in 2010. Only all-wheel drive modifications equipped with the xDrive system are supplied to Ukraine. In the new generation, it became possible for an extra charge to equip the car with a multimedia system with Internet access, a circular video review system. The main technical innovation was an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Three petrol and three diesel engines are offered as power plants for the BMW X3. The range of gasoline units includes engines of 2 (184 or 245 hp) and 3 liters (306 hp). The list of diesel engines includes engines of 2 (184 hp) and 3 liters (258 or 313 hp). In Europe, a 143-horsepower version of the two-liter diesel engine is also available, which is aggregated with a rear-wheel drive modification of the model. In Ukraine, this power plant is not yet offered.

The base transmission for the initial engines is a six-speed "mechanics", and for other more powerful engines - an eight-speed automatic.

In the model range of the brand, the car occupies a place between BMW X1 And BMW X5. The main competitors in the market are Audi Q5, Infinity EX, Land Rover Freelander 2, Mercedes-Benz GLK And Volvo XC60.

The ground clearance of the car is 212 mm. Initially, the BMW X3 was produced in Austria, but with the start of production of the second generation of the model, the assembly was transferred to a plant in North America.
