The BMW X3 facelift (F25) is an updated version of the model, which can be recognized by the modified headlights “touching” the false radiator grille. Slightly changed the designers and the shape of the bumpers and rear lights. Direction indicators have now taken their place on the side mirror housings. It is noteworthy that not only headlights, but also foglights can now be LED. In addition, slightly refreshed crossover and interior decoration.

The basic versions of the BMW X3 are rear-wheel drive modifications available with one of two power plants:

• a 2-liter petrol turbo engine (184 hp and 270 Nm) for the X3 sDrive 20i version;
• and a two-liter turbodiesel (150 hp and 360 Nm) for the X3 sDrive 18d version.

The list of power plants for all-wheel drive versions is wider and includes gasoline engines with power from 184 to 306 hp, as well as diesel units with returns from 190 to 313 hp.

Gearboxes - six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic.

Among the interesting options are a full-color head-up display, all-round cameras, a car parker, active cruise control with Stop & Go function, marking tracking and automatic movement in traffic jams. In addition, the BMW X3 is available and a pedestrian warning system, and automatic braking to avoid frontal collisions. The Smart Opener system has also become available for the crossover - in order to open the tailgate, you just need to move your foot under the rear bumper.

Serial production of the BMW X3 has been established at the plant in Spartanburg (USA).
