Description BMW M4 Coupe

BMW M4 is a sporty version of the BMW 4 Series Coupé introduced at the end of 2013. Unlike the "standard" 4 Series coupe, the M4 has increased the track and heavily reworked the rear suspension. At the front, the distance between the wheels has increased by 3.5 centimeters, at the rear - by 1.8 centimeters. The roof, trunk lid, engine strut brace and driveshaft are made of carbon fiber. The total weight savings compared to its predecessors - 80 kg with an ideal (50:50) weight distribution along the axles - this was achieved due to new subframes, as well as due to the use of aluminum in the suspension structure.

Under the hood is a 3.0-liter gasoline engine with two turbines. Engine power is 431 hp. in the range from 5390 to 7000 rpm. Torque of 550 Nm is available from 1850 to 5500 rpm. The engine is paired with new gearboxes: a 6-speed Getrag manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The new “mechanics” is 12 kg lighter than the previous one and will delight riders with the “re-gas” system when downshifting.

Four-piston brakes are installed on the front axle, the discs of which can be replaced with carbon-ceramic plates for an extra charge. The base car sits on 18-inch wheels wrapped in 255/40 sport tires at the front and 275/40 at the rear. For a surcharge, it will be possible to supply 19-inch wheels.

The BMW M4 is produced in Germany.
