Description BMW 1 Series (F20)

BMW 1 Series (F20) - five-door C-class hatchback. The only rear wheel drive car in its class. The first generation of the car was introduced in 2004, the current one - in 2011.

The BMW of the first series is equipped with three petrol and two diesel engines. In cars with indices 116i and 118i, this is a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine, which, depending on the version, develops 109 and 136 hp. Versions 120i and 125i are equipped with a 2.0-liter petrol turbo engine with 184 and 224 hp. respectively. In addition, sports modifications of the BMW M135i and BMW M140i xDrive (all-wheel drive) are offered on the Ukrainian market, which are aggregated with a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine (340 hp and 500 Nm).

The diesel BMW 116d is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that develops 116 hp. Versions 118d, 118d xDrive, 120d, 120d xDrive and 125d are equipped with a two-liter turbocharged engine, the power of which, depending on the modification, is 150, 190 or 224 hp. The maximum torque of the older version of the BMW 125i is 450 Nm, and it can accelerate to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds.

Any of the engines except the initial ones (109-horsepower petrol and 116-horsepower diesel) can be aggregated with a mechanical six-speed or automatic eight-speed transmission manufactured by ZF. A wide range of additional options, interior design options and rims allow each buyer to individualize their car if they have the means. 

The BMW 1 Series is produced at the company's plant in Rosenberg, Germany.
